I decided some time ago that I wanted to explore landscape photography. This is a discipline that’s different to the type of photography I’m used to and involves a different kind of preparation, both in terms of scouting the field for the composition you want to shoot, as well as learning where the sun will rise and fall, and at what time.
These bridges link England to Wales. Careful preparation and understanding the light and environment can help you get shots like these, and I look forward to furthering my skills and exploring this area further in the future. I loved the serenity about doing this kind of work, the first shot is of the old Severn Bridge and the rest are of the second Severn Bridge and were taken over the space of a couple of days.
